Early Life and Childhood

During her father’s commission for military service, she stayed in Arizona. She gained sports spirit through Arizona. Barely being 4 years old, she held her wrestling kit. During practice sessions, she collided with another athlete and this incident bruised her tooth and this changed her motive to adapt according to different situations and evolved.

Local officials recognized her as a disciplined and psychologically prime athlete. She was influenced by her father who was serving in the Army. This inspiration led her to become determined and pursue her willingness to become a wrestler.

She had trained to compete in national tournaments such as Super 32. Her childhood days include incidents when she was never concerned about wrestling boys and sometimes she had even beaten her counterparts easily irrespective of their genders.

Education and the Beginning of Sports Career

She had been admitted to Archbishop Spalding High School in the middle of her secondary education. She is currently a Junior under class of 2027.

Taina made her school proud by defeating her male opponents. Rather than being discouraged about her injury, she never made excuses. Women’s wrestling was not popular when she started however, she struggled to uplift her image as an athlete.

Her first club was the Southern Maryland Wrestling Club where under her coach Gabrielson, she gained skill training.

Professional Career

Her winning streak shows her ability to become a champion and beat the world which says Women can’t fight. In the Year 2024, she did not let her opponent score and won by 28-0.

She became the first female wrestler in history to win 4 times the Super 32 titles. Also won the Fargo Champion 3 times. Her list of victory is inclusive of Ken Kraft Midlands and the Princeton Women’s Open, where she defeated NCAA wrestlers.

Under 17 World Championship in the city of Athens reminds her of her performance where she won a gold medal against an Indian wrestler by a margin of 11-0.

She is among the few American wrestlers who won titles when they were barely under the age of 16 with multiple Under-World Gold Medals. At the Pan American Level, became a Gold Medalist in 2025 (Brazil). Before this, she already had 2 other Gold Medals in her pockets for Under 17 Pan American and Under 15 edition.
