She spent her initial year in the Stratford High School where she became first female in Winconsin as a freshman to reach a boy’s state wrestling final. She shifted to River Falls High School. By middle school, Kilty realized she possessed a natural talent for the sport. She began traveling for elite freestyle training.
She earned a degree for B. Sc. in Business Administration from DeVry University. She was attending and educating through online means which facilitated her to compete in World Championships.
