Kylie Welker grew up in Franksville (Wisconsin) and began wrestling at a very small age. She had defeated boys in the competition. She was not knowing about wrestling being an Olympic Sports. Her father found best training centers for her to compete.

This led to the shift towards wrestling. She comes from a wrestling oriented family where she learned the skills through aggressive style of wrestling. She became the local youth wrestler at very short span of time.

She attended Burlington High School (Wisconsin), where she lifted state championship titles. She had also attended Springs Studio to get trained along with her final graduation at Waterford Union High School.

She is a Redshirt Junior and currently majoring in Pre – Business. She was inspired by her family culture to be part of wrestling which led her to join this combat sport.

Professional Career

She was regarded as the first ever scholarship receiving athlete for the University of Iowa’s women’s wrestling program. She became the top wrestling authority in the college and international levels while defeating Anastasiya Alpyeyeva by 6-2 during Senior level competition.

She is being no. 1 NCAA ranked wrestler for her 2024-26 seasonal performance. She won the national title for her team Iowa with 23-1 record score.
