Early Life and Childhood

Felicity started wrestling just to keep in shape for cross country and track. Once she tried wrestling, though, she was attached. Wrestling became her focus. She didn’t stay in her small town for long. Soon, she was taken to Sebolt Wrestling Academy to train with coach TJ Sebolt. That move changed everything. Now, she’s one of the biggest names in women’s wrestling in Iowa.

Education and the Beginning of Sports Career

She went to South Winneshiek High in Calmar. In 2018, she won the Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award for Iowa, even before girls’ wrestling was officially allowed in the state. Most of her matches were against boys, and she won over 100 of them. She became the first girl ever to win an Upper Iowa Conference title.

After high school, she went to McKendree University in Illinois, one of the top schools for women’s wrestling. From 2018 to 2022, she reached to the national finals four times and helped her team win three straight NCWWC team championships. In 2021, she conquered her own national title.

She didn’t let wrestling get in the way of her studies, either. Felicity earned NWCA Scholar All-American and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors.  By the end of her freshman year, she had a winning record, and by end of her sophomore season, she won her first Iowa State Championship.

Professional Career

She dominated in college, then jumped into her pro career. In 2025, she hit a huge milestone: winning the Final X and becoming the first native Iowan to make the Senior Women’s Freestyle World Team.

That same year, she pulled on the Team USA and wrestled at 53 kg at the Senior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

While chasing her own Olympic dreams for 2028, she’s coaching and mentoring young girls at Big Game.
