BALCO Scandal Involvement

Barry got involved in the BALCO steroid scandal in 2003, he was found using performance enhancing drugs which was supplied by Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative but Barry denied all the charges.

Barry was punished for lying and sentenced to 30 days house arrest, 2 years of probation and 250 hours of community service but the conviction was changed by the appeals.
