Spencer Lee was born in Denver in a family where his parents were judo athletes. He began his career when he was only 6 years old. He had finished his first year with a 26-1 record. Lee was a soccer player.
He was in the 8th grade when he was invited in a camp at the Olympic Training Center for practicing with senior athletes.
Education and the Beginning of Sports Career
Spencer Lee attended Franklin Regional High School in Pennsylvania from 2013-17. He was regarded as a highly honored student while balancing her athletic career by a huge record performance of 144-1 and being the 3 times PIAA Class AAA State Champion.

Spencer Lee won against Azamat Tuskaev by 4-0 and Fuga Sasaki by 12-2 at the Zagreb Open Tournament. He obtained the spot in the Senior World Team by defeating Luke Lilledahl in the month of June (2025).
He qualified for Paris Olympics in the year 2024 by defeating Thomas Gilman in the finals of the 2024 Pan American Championship. He has a career record of 98-6 and ranked at No.1 in the U.S. Wrestling circle at the 57 kg weight category.

Muhamet Malo Ranking Series 2026 (25 February and 1 March 2026)
He won the gold medal in the tournament – Muhamet Malo Ranking Series on 25 February, 2026. He defeated Ramiz Gamzatov by Technical Fall through 10-0 in a 1 minute and 28 seconds. He ended the match with a series of gut wrenches to collect the gold medal.
Zagreb Open Ranking Series 2026 (February 4–8, 2026)
Spencer Lee won the gold medal in the Zagreb Open Ranking Series 2026 held in Croatia. He won the final match by 4-0 against Roman Bravo-Young (Mexico).
In the semi-final match, he defeated Fuga Sasaki (Japan) by 10-2 and this vitory take him to the final.
